We at Arizona Grass Raised Beef Co. are honored to be partners with Local First Arizona, a nonprofit organization that celebrates independent, locally owned businesses. For years, Local First Arizona has supported, promoted and advocated for strong local business communities in Arizona while raising public awareness of the numerous benefits (cultural, economic and otherwise) provided by a strong local economy.
As part of this partnership, we were thrilled to participate in the recent Certified Local Fall Festival here in Arizona! The event took place on Saturday, November 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Hance Park in Phoenix. The festival was free, and had plenty of crafts and activities for family and kids. Attendees were able to purchase $1 food tickets, which could also be used for drink samples in the beer and wine garden (for those 21 and older). Attendees also had the chance to win a number of amazing prizes, items, gift certificates, experiences and more provided by partners of Local First Arizona.
Our grass fed beef in Arizona and all of our other products were so popular at our booth that we had a line that did not die down for the entire six-hour run of the festival! Here’s a quick overview of some of the products you’ll find in our online store that were so popular at the Certified Local Fall Festival:
• Grass finished beef: All of our ground beef, steaks and organ meats are hand-fabricated at our own USDA harvesting plant. These products are individually vacuum-packed, with our steaks being wet aged for optimum tenderness and freshness.
• Ground beef: We have home delivery available for five-pound packs of 85/15 ground beef. Every five-pound order of ground beef comes packaged in individual one-pound vacuum-sealed packages, and all orders are shipped frozen. Ground beef is also available in the combo pack, which comes with five pounds of ground beef and two 32-ounce containers of our beef bone broth.
• Quarter, half and whole beef: Arizona residents are able to order our quarter, half and whole beef to be delivered straight to their door from our USDA inspected plant. All beef (except ground beef) is wet aged, and our steak is cryo packed, refrigerated and wet aged to perfection. Wet aging this lean beef is far superior for added taste and tenderness versus traditional dry aging methods.
• Beef bone broth: We have become particularly known for our unique beef bone broth. We have the ability to hand fabricate and use the entire bone spectrum to produce the most gelatinous, nutrient dense, never pasteurized beef bone broth you’ll find in the world. This includes all bones, from shoulder to hoof, as well as attached tendons and ligaments. All ingredients are brewed for 72 hours with onions, carrots, celery, parsley, apple cider vinegar and peppercorns, with the end result being an incredibly nutrient dense, healthy broth that can be used for a wide variety of applications.
