Instructions
  1. Place brisket fat side down in deep roasting pan
  2. Sprinkle brisket with onion, pepper and garlic powder
  3. Cover tightly and cook in slow oven (300°F) for 3 hours.
  4. Pour beer over brisket, increase oven temperature to 350°F and continue cooking, covered, for 30 minutes.
